Affixed autograph letter signed from Hugh Percy, 2nd Duke of Northumberland (1742-1817) to Lt. Colonel Isted, sending copy of this book; dated at "Syon 21st October 1800". Inscribed: "R.W. Ketton-Cremer Felbrigg 1956" [i.e. Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)]. Binding: nineteenth-century diced Russia calf; single gilt fillet border; gilt roll on turn-ins. Rebacked: five false bands; gold lettered.
