Bookplate on front pastedown: Armorial, Grey arms, surmounted by a baron's coronet [i.e.: Harry Grey (1715-1768) prior to marriage to Mary Booth (pre-1736) and prior to assumption of earldom of Stamford (pre-1739)]. (Presumably an earlier bookplate pasted into this book by the 4th earl of Stamford in 1752?). Binding: Calf; double gilt ruled; spine gilt; spine label missing: 'Du Moulin of contentment'.
