Imperfect: the Brotherton copy appears to have a port. of Queen Anne as a frontis. and suggests that some plates should be folding. None of the plates in the Dunham copy are folding.. Provenance: Bookplate on front pastedown: Armorial, Grey and Booth quarterings impaling Cavendish-Bentinck: George Harry Grey, 5th earl of Stamford & 1st earl of Warrington (2nd cr.) (1737-1819), pasted over an earlier, less well-executed plate of the 5th earl, with the single-tailed lion.. Binding: Sprinkled, panelled calf; blind rolled, ruled and tooled; spine gilt; spine label missing: 'Ware's antiquities of Ireland'.
