Bibliographic description

[6], 237, [3] p. ; 4to. Imperfect: wanting p. 75-78 (K2-3), 81-82 (L1), 87-88 (L4), 91-94 (M2-3), 105-112 (O1-4). Surrounding leaves scorched, crushed, torn and otherwise damaged. Binding: seventeenth-century sprinkled sheepskin; double blind fillet border, with quarter double blind fillet. Pair of red, worsted, twill-weave ties on fore-edge. Repaired in sheepskin. Recessed cords. Originally stitched on 3 tanned supports which laced into boards, these now broken at joints and mostly absent. Leather over lower board damaged by insects.
