Hannibal Gamon Tandem D.O.M.", and (in different hand) "Not wth:out Theseus". Binding: contemporary seventeenth-century roll-stamped calf, sewn on 5 supports; triple blind fillet and blind roll pattern panel framework. Stubs of green linen ties on both boards. Gilt title and place/date on spine. Green stained edges. With a sheet of printer's waste as front fly-leaf, from an 8vo. edition of someone's "Ethicae" (not obviously Aristotle), translated from the Greek, with copious notes, including notes on the German translation of key words.
