Slip of paper loose between pages: one side with scribbles including "Hannibal Gamon" [i.e. Hannibal Gamon (1582?-1651), Rector of St. Mawgan]; the other side with notes and references on some religious subject (page refs. to Church fathers and others). Manuscript inscription on verso of final leaf: "John Lord Robartes sometime Lieuetenant Lord of Ireland but now President of his majesties most honble Privy Councill gave a grand entertainment to his neighbour & broke six dozen of glasses in a frolick". Binding: seventeenth-century sprinkled calf; double blind fillet border; single gilt fillet on board edges. Rebacked in calf. Red edges.
