Bookmark: none Boards: re-used boards with earlier leather cover (dark brown tanned calf) nstill in place. 5 slips are laced into these boards, angled down in the front board, up in the back. Bottom outer corner of right board has been repaired Covering: tanned red-brown genuine russia calf with original uneven dicing onlyTooling Spine: divided into 6 panels by gold-tooled 1-fillets, titled direct in panels 2 and 3Tooling Sides: gold-tooled 1-fillet border, gold-tooled disk roll on board edges.Furniture: NoneEnclosure: NoneBinding Notes: 19th century bookplate of the Earl of Morley inside left board. This is a curious binding, as the re-used boards and the thick russia calf have resulted in rounded adges to the boards. The same thing seems to have happened to vol 2 (1681), but vol 3, a supplement, (1753) has first-use boards.
