Franks 21457. manuscript inscription on vol. 1 front fly-leaf: "Phin: Fowke MD. 1691". manuscript inscription on vol. 2 front fly-leaf: "Ph: Fowke M.D. 1668".. Binding: Seventeenth-century Cambridge-style blind panelled calf bindings; gilt roll on board edges; gold-tooled spines, with red gilt title label. Initials V and M stamped in gilt on spines of vol. 1 and 2 respectively. Red and brown sprinkled edges.
