Ephemera: visiting card loosely inserted: 'Viscountess Clifden' printed on one side [i.e. Mary Dickinson (1853-1921), wife of Thomas Charles Reginald Agar-Robartes (1844-1930), 6th Viscount Clifden], manuscript note on the provenance on other side: "One of the books given by Sir John Arundell of Trerice to the Rev. Hannibal Gamon. ...". Provenance: manuscript inscription on title page: "'Ex dono consum[m]atiss. militis Joh: Arundell. Hannibal Gamon Tandem-D.O.M." [i.e. Hannibal Gamon (1582?-1651), Rector of St. Mawgan]. Binding: seventeenth-century sprinkled sheepskin, sewn on 5 supports; triple blind fillet border. Rebacked in sheepskin. Gilt title and place/date on spine.
