Binding: late eighteenth-century full calf; triple gilt fillet to form an outer border, with triple blind fillet and blind rolled inner borders; recessed cords; gilt and blind tooling on spine; spine lettered direct (gilt-tooled): 'Virgilius Heynii' with vol. no. and 'Lond: 1793'; gilt edge rolled on corners; double gilt fillet on turn-ins; marbled edges; green ribbon marker.
