Binding: Seventeenth-century red goatskin gilt-panelled bindings; gilt fillet and roll pattern border; centre panel of interlaced geometrical designs filled with massed small tools; gilt corner- and side-pieces; remains of pair of green cloth ties on each board; gilt roll on board edges and turn-ins; gold-tooled spines. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Binding identical to Chirk C.5.21, except for different patterned endpapers.
