Myddelton [i.e. Robert Edward Myddelton (1866-1949)]; crest, signed and dated: W.P.B. 1914. Multiple manuscript inscriptions on title page and preliminaries, including: "To Mr Cristofer Soan at his hous in adiham hampshire", "Herdin[?] Lorkwood his book anno March 1681", and "David Soan his book 1721".. Binding: Seventeenth-century blind panelled calf binding, gilt floral stamps at corners of inner panel; gilt lozenge centrepiece stamp. Rebacked and repaired in calf.
