Shelved and uniform with Prior's "Poems on several occasions" (1766). Former shelfmarks: Q/9 (in pencil), Y.5.41 (ink), Bb.3.32 (blue ink).. Provenance: manuscript inscription on front flyleaf: "Richardson to Yorke. 1773" [possibly Philip Yorke (1757-1834), later 3rd Earl of Hardwicke]. Binding: Eighteenth-century sprinkled calf; gilt roll on board edges; floral gold-tooled spine, with red gilt title and green gilt vol. no. labels. Marbled endpapers.
