Provenance: manuscript inscription (late 18th century?) on front fly-leaf: "1st: 2d: c3d. Guliel & Mar: 5s Edw: Horsman". manuscript equations on rear pastedown. manuscript inscription on extra leaf: "The declarac[i]on presented to ye Pri. & Princesse of O: 12. febr: 88".. Binding: Late seventeenth-century blind-panelled calf binding; gilt roll on board edges; blind fillets and roll pattern on spine. Stamped in gilt on both boards: 'I Gul & Mar'.
