[i.e. catalogue code of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742)]. Entered in Mitchell's catalogue of the Ellys library with note: "cum ipsius Relandi notis copiosissimus MSS. nitidiss." [i.e. with copious notes by Reeland]. Binding: eighteenth-century half-bound vellum with marbled paper over boards; sewn onto three supports; five raised bands; manuscript title and vol. number on spines; untrimmed edges.
