[i.e. catalogue code of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Sir Richard Ellys (1682-1742)]. Binding: eighteenth-century full sprinkled calf; sewn on three cords; five raised bands; gilt roll pattern along board edges; gold-tooled spines; gilt title on brown leather label and gilt vol. number on dark stained panel on spines. Red sprinkled textblock edges. Comb and swirl pattern marbled endpapers.
