Eighteenth-century(?) manuscript capital letter written in ink at head of front free endleaf recto: "D" (found in a number of Blickling's books but unknown as to what it means). Pencilled code at head of front free endleaf: "B16". Binding: late seventeenth-century mottled calf over boards, double gilt fillet border; blind roll pattern along board edges; five raised bands, gilt tooled spine; red sprinkled edges. Repaired at Cambridge 1955.
