6v. . fol.. Not identified in 1768 catalogue. The Dunham copy varies slightly from that at Belton. There are four letterpress leaves of index and one of subscribers at the end of vol. 5 in the Dunham copy, as well as the index and subscribers' list to the supplementary 6th vol. Occasional manuscriptadditions to genealogies (see for example vol. 2, p.125) in more than one hand, the earliest of which is probably in the hand of George Harry Grey, 5th earl of Stamford, 1st earl of Warrington (2nd. cr.)(1737-1819), the later probably George Harry Grey, 6th earl of Stamford (1756-1845). The annotated Grey/Booth pedigree appears in vol. 2, pp. 122-125. The subscribers' list in vol. 5 does not contain the earl of Stamford, but vol. 6 records: Stamford, earl of, 2 copies [i.e.: George Harry Grey, 5th earl of Stamford, 1st earl of Warrington (2nd. cr.) (1737-1819).]. Provenance: Bookplate on front pastedowns of vols. 1-5: Armorial, Grey and Booth quarterings impaling Cavendish-Bentinck: George Harry Grey, 5th earl of Stamford & 1st earl of Warrington (2nd cr.) (1737-1819).. Binding: Treated calf (probably inked rather than acid treated?); single gilt ruled; spines gilt (worn) red spine labels: 'Peerage of England'.
