Numerous examples of autograph practice on front and rear fly-leaves, including "John" and "John Franklin". Binding: seventeenth-century calf; double blind fillet border; panel of triple blind fillets, with blind cornerpiece stamps; gilt roll pattern on board edges; blind-tooled spine, with gilt title on brown leather label. Red sprinkled edges.
