Inscription in French on 2nd flyleaf (17/18c. hand) noting Schottus's poor translation.. Provenance: MS inscriptions on half-title and title-page (2 hands, 17c.): Monasterii Ge[m]meticensis cong. S. Mauri (with pressmark D.4 on half-title). Signature on title-page (17c.?): Jn Eakia [?]; in another hand: initials C.T. No Belton ownership marks except Brownlow arms on binding (presumably = 1st earl Brownlow).
