Also underlining and marginal notes.Includes a note on p.709, copied in manuscript on nineteenth-century writing paper and laid in at some place, referring to Sanderson's account of the King's visit to Cornwall in 1644: "This is a base lie it being known to all the tenants of the Ld Robartes who are not a few that he raised not one penny or demanded one penny rent from his tenants during the earle of Essex' abode in the county although his l[ord]s[hi]p had many tenants in those townes & places where the earle of Essex quartered." Binding: seventeenth-century sprinkled calf, rebacked, sewn onto five bands; double blind fillets, double vertical lines tooled parallel to spine
