(saltire cross of the Yorke family, Earls of Hardwicke, impaled with unidentified arms), with motto "Nec cupias nec metuas" [probably Charles Philip Yorke, 4th Earl of Hardwicke (1799-1873), and his wife Susan Liddell (1810-1886)].. Binding: Eighteenth-century sprinkled calf bindings; gilt roll on board edges; gold-tooled spines, with red title and blue vol. no. labels.
