Binding: seventeenth-century brown calf over boards on five raised alum-tawed thongs (second and fourth are false), blue and white head- and tail-bands, triple blind border fillet on both covers, double blind fillet on spine, single gilt fillet on board edges, red and brown sprinkled edges, eighteenth-century dark blue leather spine label with gilt tooling and titling.
