(Not in Franks) [i.e. Wilmot Vaughn (1730-1800), 4th Viscount Lisburne from 1766 to 1776, when he was created 1st Earl]. Eighteenth-century manuscript pressmark (?) on pastedown. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Loosely inserted: slip of manuscript notes by Norris. Binding: Eighteenth-century full calf over boards; spine gilt with earl's coronets; sewn on five raised bands.
