Bibliographic description
[8],759,[1],xiv,[16] p. : ill. ; fol. In eighteenth-century in manuscript on pastedown: Hist.-Antiq -67. Numbered on fly leaf in same ink: 01697269. Pencil number on pastedown: 908. Provenance: eighteenth-century sepia armorial bookplate of: 'Thomas Anson Esqr. Shugborough'; presumably Thomas Anson, 1st Viscount Anson, (1767-1818), though this plate seems to have been pasted into many of the books at Shugborough, and is not necessarily reliable evidence of provenance; pasted over eighteenth-century armorial bookplate of Richard Banner. Binding: eighteenth-century calf; sewn onto six raised cords; double gold fillet borders; gold tooled spine. (Very worn.)
