Manuscript inscription on fly-leaf facing title page: "Tabulae" [i.e. title note and catalogue entry, written by John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751)]. Black ink-stamp of (probably) the library of the Jesuit college of San Hermenegildo in Seville (Colegio de San Hermenegildo de la Compañía de Jesús de Sevilla) on title page: 'Libraria De Colegyo D S H', with the IHS emblem of the Society of Jesus and a crown. Manuscript inscriptions in seventeenth-century hands on title page: "Reu. Patri Jo. Pinada [or Rinada]" and "del colleg[i]o de S. Herme. de la Comp[añía]. de Jesus diolo el señor fundador. ... [one word or flourish, illegible]". Binding: seventeenth-century limp vellum; stubs of two pairs of tawed leather ties on both covers; spine cracked; manuscript spine title. Red stained edges.
