2v.,plates . engr. music . 8vo.. Not indigenous. Shelved and uniform with Baretti's A journey from London to Genoa (1770). Provenance: Eighteenth-century Chippendale armorial bookplate: Richard Croftes Esqr. (Franks 7387) [i.e. probably Richard Croftes, M.P. for Cambridge University (1771-1779)]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Inscribed on v. 1 pastedown in Norris's hand: Colne Park H. [i.e. Hodgson's] 18/1 40 Lot 344.. Binding: Eighteenth-century full calf over boards; brown leather spine label with title "Baretti's Account of Italy"; sewn on five raised bands.
