[i.e. the "collated and perfect" mark of the bibliophile Thomas Rawlinson (1681-1725)]; on front endleaf: "D"; on *1v: "Funeral" [underlined] in hand of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Ellys. Binding: eighteenth-century full calf over boards tooled to a Cambridge-style design of sprinkled and cat's paw staining with blind fillet frames and corner fleurons; gilt pointille on board edges; four raised bands with gilt title "C. OF RICHMO FUNERAL SERMON" on brown label; endbands with front beads; pastedown with guard attachment and endleaf (front endleaf wanting); sewn on four supports, two laced in; red sprinkled leaf edges.
