[i.e. catalogue code of John Mitchell (ca. 1685-1751), librarian to Ellys]. Manuscript inscription on front endleaf in eighteenth-century hand: "The Revd. Dr. Andrews - pr: 5-0" [i.e. the price bound as on the title page]. Binding: eighteenth century full sprinkled calf over boards with three-line border of double gilt fillets and blind foliate roll. Blind roll pattern along board edges. Double gilt lines beside bands on spine; 6 raised bands, with gilt title on leather label. Paper pastedown and conjugate endleaf at both ends. Two colour endbands with front beads. Red sprinkled edges.
