Inscribed on pastedown in Norris's hand: Wentworth Woodhouse S/NW/- [Wentworth Woodhouse, South Yorkshire, home of Wentworth/Fitzwilliam family].. Binding: Early eighteenth-century full calf over boards, worn; blind fillets to form a border; blind roll-tooled quarter fillet; sewn on five raised bands; upper board detached.
