Charles Yorke [i.e. Charles Yorke (1722-1770), younger brother of the 2nd Earl of Hardwicke; Lord Chancellor, 1770]. Binding: eighteenth-century sprinkled, panelled, polished sheep over boards on four raised cords plus one false raised band, single gilt fillet on spine, late eighteenth-century red-brown and olive-green spine labels, double blind fillet with inner rectangular compartment and cornerpiece design on covers, gilt roll on board edges, red sprinkled edges. Old water stain at the end.
