Summary
Part from a pulley comprising a metal rectangular plate with a screw hole in each corner for attachment to a surface. There is a gold-coloured metal (Brass?) wheel perpendicular to the metal plate, protruding slightly through a rectangular cut-out section in the plate. This metal wheel is housed in a hexagonal-shaped metal case and is secured by a large round-headed slotted screw.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
