Summary
A collection of, Printed and Manuscript Sources for Haydn's Two Marches for the Derbyshire Yeomanry Cavalry, (Hob. VIII, nos.1 and 2), commissioned by Sir Henry Harpur original parts and first editions plus the original plates for the printing.
Provenance
Commissioned in 1794 by Sir Henry Harpur, the seventh baronet and owner of Calke Abbey. By descent to Henry Francis Harpur-Crewe and transferred via Permanent Direction to the National Trust in 1994. Currently on loan to the Derbyshire Record Office (Matlock).
