Summary
An embroidered map of the counties of England and Wales, sewn onto cream linen cloth. The cream and black stitchwork outlines the main counties and gives their names along with the names of the seas and part of Ireland, Scotland and France. In the top right-hand corner is an embroidered ring of small flowers and leaves encircling the words 'A map of England and Wales, worked by E and L Grime, 1792'. mounted on canvas backing. In a giltwood frame (damaged).
