Summary
A red dress jacket of the Royal Dragoon Guards, 1850 (circa), shaped with a pointed lower back and front. Giltmetal braid all around edges, a row of gilt beading centre front. Dark blue velvet trim collar and cuffs. Twisted braid lapetts. Quilted silk lining with label; 'Winter and (ampersand) Son/Madras'. The back is decorated with a double loop of braid centre with velvet at the point. n.b. The uniform is wrapped in 'The Sunday Express 1935'.
