Summary
A red jacket of the Kings Dragoon Guards, probably used for active service. Four buttons remain of the original seven down the front, cast with royal garter by Firmin and (ampersand) Sons, London. The cuff is of dark blue velvet in a straight band with gold braid. The collar is also dark blue velvet, a stumpwork crown each side. The back has a central vent decorated with buttons and braid. A cotton lining. Worn and damaged, extensive darning at right armhole.
