Summary
Oil painting on canvas, A Bay Hunter called 'Scaramouche' by Thomas Weaver (Worthen 1774 - Liverpool 1843), signed and inscribed, in the centre of the bottom edge: 'Shrewsbury' and dated 1819. The Bay Hunter is turned to the left, and has white socks on his back legs. He gallops across a landscape, mainly sepia.
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
