Summary
A George III gold fob seal, with spirally fluted corona, inset circular hardstone matrix carved coat of arms, two crests, helm and a motto, on a split ring set with another gold fob seal, (CAL/J/68), c.1820.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
