Summary
Six leaf 18th century painted screen with leather panels painted with Watteau-esque scenes. Each leaf has three panels, painted leather embossed with an all-over diamond pattern. All show scenes with lovers, harlequins or pastoral scenes. The joints are covered with embossed gilt bands of oriental design. The reverse has a printed oriental design with figures in temples etc. Some panels are cracked or repainted.
