Summary
One of a pair of tulipwood crossbanded satinwood card tables, English, circa 1780. Each with a D shaped hinged top, opening to reveal a green baize lined playing surface, raised on square section tapered legs, the rear legs hinged to support the top when open.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
