Summary
A silvered and giltwood upholstered chair, possibly Italian, late 18th century. With a scroll carved crest centred by a cartouche, the T shaped back and seat upholstered in floral needlework with flanking twist turned pilasters and raised on square section legs and brass castors.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
