Summary
A stuffed kestrel (possibly a Merlin), one of two made by T.M. Williams and contained in a small black painted oak taxidermy display case with a glass front and the interior painted pale blue. This is the kestral mounted at a lower level and which is pinning down a goldfinch .
Provenance
Transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
