Summary
Scabbard or large dagger. Woven handle with a pointed metal cap, a flat red-brown leather wrist strap, and a crocodile skin case which has been sewn together on one side. There is a leather panel with an impressed geometric pattern.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
