Summary
One of two table sections from a set of satinwood cross banded rosewood nesting tables or 'quartetto' tables, English, circa 1800. Originally with four parts, each with a crossbanded top and twin turned end supports tied by a curved back stretcher and raised on cheval feet.
Provenance
Calke Abbey and contents transferred to the National Trust by the Treasury in lieu of CTT in 1985 with an endowment provided by the NHMF.
