Summary
Print, lithograph, Calke Abbey, Derbyshire, (after William Gauci) by Charles Joseph Hullmandel (London 1789 - London 1850). Calke Abbey from the south west by Hullmandel after W. Gauci. Deer in the foreground in the park, a drive sweeping striaght up from the house, a metal fence across it near the house. The house has steps sloped southwards either side of the portico. Inscription reads, 'SW view of Calke Abbey/dedicated by permission to Sir George Crewe Bart M.P./By his obliged [and] humble servant. M. Webster'. Early 19th century. In a narrow ebonised and gilt modern frame.
