Pencil, on paper, Mary Adeline Crewe (1834-1930). Portrait of a lady, her head highlighted with watercolour. She has brown hair, curled around her face, and wears a bonnet. Her dress has a decollete neckline, corseted bodice and wide sleeves. Its outline is suggested by means of sketched lines. Half length sketch on white paper.
