Summary
Print, lithograph, St George's Church, Ticknall, Derbyshire (after Charles Joseph Hullmandel) by W.L.Walton (fl. London 1834-1856). 'New Parish Church, Tickenhall, Derbyshire/Henry I. Stevens/Archt.' The church is shown from south-west, a tower with a faceted spire at the west end. A group of people stand before the church, a south porch is built onto the south aisle. Foxed.The church was built in 1842 by the architect Henry Isaac Stevens to replace the old church dedicated to St Thomas Becket. It was consecrated on 6 October 1842
