Print, line engraving, Lucius Cary, 2nd Viscount Falkland (1610-1643) (after Sir Anthony Van Dyck) by George Vertue (London 1684 - London 1756). 1713. Engraved portrait in a printed oval frame The portrait shows a young man, half-length, in Jacobean dress with long hair. A bayleaf frame surrounds the portrait. On a seperate sheet are 18th Century passages on Lord Faulkland, taken from Echard's 'Hist. of England' and Clarendon. Both are mounted on layered watermarked paper.
