One of a set of ten engravings, stitched together, the series entitled Le Antichita di Pozzuoli Baja E Cuma, drawn and published by Filippo Morghen, Naples 1769. The engravings illustrate various Italian caves and views across bays and rivers. Each one is accompanied by a short Italian text and there is a title page at the beginning. Gaius Marius (157-86 BC).
