Summary
Print, lithograph, The Church of St Mary and St Giles, Buckerel, Devon by William Spreat (fl.1820-1860). A 19th century lithograph of Buckerel church, by W. Spreat, printed by C. Hullmandel. The church is in the background with some figures and a slope in front. In the foreground on the right is part of a house with an open porch covered with ivy. The church dates back to the 14th century. The tower is a later edition and was built to replace an earlier bell turret, probably made of oak.
